All your time tracking data stays on your device in your browser’s local storage. It never gets sent to any servers.
The online version uses Umami analytics which collects basic anonymous usage stats (page views, referrers). No personal data or time tracking data is collected.
The only reason analytics exists on this app, is just to see how many people use it - that’s it.
The offline version (available at Github Releases) contains no analytics at all.
If you download YTime as a standalone file from our Releases, it contains no analytics code.
If you simply save the web page in your browser (e.g. with Ctrl+S), the file may still include the analytics tag. We technically restrict analytics to the domain ytime.app, so saved files opened from file:// or other domains shouldn’t be tracked.
Since your data stays on your device, you always have full control. You can export it, delete it, or edit it at any time.
